Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (REACH) in Stockton

Building up community advocates!

The Within Our REACH Community Leadership Work Group is made up of community members who are passionate about making a difference in their neighborhoods. The group recently expanded to include 13 community members representing targeted census tracts throughout Stockton. Members received training on urban agriculture ordinances and general plan implementation.

In December of 2018, the City Council approved the Envision Stockton 2040 General Plan Update which included almost all of the healthy policies proposed by the group through the Healthy Neighborhood Collaborative! Here's to a healthier Stockton!
